The train
departs on time. Either a good number of people failed to claim reservations
or the sign at the ticket counter was incorrect. The rear car is
nearly full, but the forward car is empty.
This rail line was once part
of the Boston & Maine Railroad and now belongs to New Hampshire.
The Milford-Bennington Railroad provides freight service on the line.
